Plans are well underway to hold the Carnival Queen, Princess and Attendants selection events. The events will be fun and will probably both include a disco, to be confirmed. They will be judged by a panel of specially local people.
SELECTION OF ATTENDANTS

It is hoped to run an event for all under 11's in early February, open to boys and girls of primary school age.
QUEEN & PRINCESS SELECTION
Date to be confirmed
These will be selected at a seperate event and will be open to older entrants.
CROWNING CEREMONY
SATURDAY 1st MAY 2010
Millennium Meadow
This will be held in conjunction with the wonderful May Day Celebrations and Maypole Dancing on the tranquil Meadow where there will also be a range of other attractions, courtesy of the Millennium Green Trust.
