PUB RACE RECORDS SMASHED
Superb weather saw a record 28 teams set off around the Town's pubs to be cheered by throughout the route.

The Whitchurch Festival is back with a bang for 2009 after the massive success of last year.
No one had foreseen the numbers that turned out for the three main events - the Pub Race, the Carnival Queen Selection and the Carnival Procession with its amazing finale that all but overwhelmed the Millennium Meadow, hosts to a fantastic fun afternoon
And not only was it fun, fun, fun, but it showed what a fine Town Whitchurch is, with a growing community spririt willing to help out and join in.
