FIREWORKS
PUMPKINS, GUYS and FANCY DRESS
Whitchurch Festival is joined with Whitchurch Arts and the Whitchurch Millennium Meadow to put on a range of exciting events leading up to October 31st (aka Halloween).
FIREWORKS at the MEADOW
Organised by the Festival Committee.
Held at the Millennium Meadow.
A great night out for all - fireworks, Hot Dogs, Soup and drinks, when people of all ages gathered to enjoy this new community event. Well done to Nev and his team for a great night and good display and thanks to all who helped.
Thanks are due to a whole range of individuals, businesses and organisations without whom the event could not have taken place.

CREATIVE PUMPKIN COMPETITION
Organised by Whitchurch Arts. A terrific entry of wonderful decorations and carvings decorated windows over the week and many were taken to the meadow where prizes were distributed..
The winners, from top left clockwise were:

GUY COMPETITION
Organised by Whitchurch Arts. Well done to all those who built Guys for the evening.
Winning entry came from Rising Fives for their excellent Conductor Guy and his train (below, and being thrown on the bonfire!). They were awarded their prize of a dinner for two at the Blue Ginger, along with a selection of fun toys.
FIND THE PUMPKINS
Find pumpkins on local websites.
The Great Pumpkin Hunt on Whitchurch Forums saw an innovative competition of hunting named pumpkins around a number of Whitchurch websites.
Winner was George Lloyd who managed to hunt out:
Tipsy, Emily, Philly, Horace, Phoebe, George, Tommy, Susie Jane, Bertie-Bill, William, Maisy, Terence, Marcia and Ferdie.
Well done and a prize and certificate have been awarded
FANCY DRESS COMPETITION
Organised by the Festival Committee.
Many children and adults arrived in Fancy Dress on the Meadow. When the results are available they will be posted here.
These events were jointly coordinated by Whitchurch Festival, Whitchurch Arts and the Whitchurch Meadow.
