Wednesdays Walking for Health 10.00am - see Regular events above, but.... TheWalking for Health scheme in Whitchurch is going from strength to strength and so many people are now coming along to the regular Wednesday morning walk that we could really do with a few more leaders and back markers to join the team. All you need is a friendly personality, enjoy walking and meeting new people and know the local area quite well.
You don’t need to be fit - slower walk leaders are also needed to help lead an alternative health walk for people who are new to exercise but who would like to become more active.
There will be the opportunity to attend an enjoyable 1 day training course at a later stage.
If you have a few hours to spare each month and think you might like to get involved, please call Jane Wilding on 01256 845584, or e-mail Jane Wilding
