With so many pubs there are a wide variety of events ranging from quiz nights and darts matches to music evenings and even fishing trips. Here we will list a few that are known about.

LOOK BACK ON 2011 QUIZ NIGHT and SUPPER
The White Hart
7.30pm. Was that the year that was for you? In this fun night we take a look back at 2011.
With a prize for the winning team and spot prizes too! Half time supper of bangers and bubble & squeak, Vegetarian option available.
Max six people per team.

SUNDAY 22nd
MUSIC @ THE CLUB
The Sports and Social Club
12.30pm. A relaxing afternoon of acoustic music with Keith Bell and friends.
Just come along to join in if you wish - whether to play, sing, or just to listen and enjoy the atmosphere while supping a good local beer.
All ages welcome. Why not book a Sunday lunch too? (book by day before)

SATURDAY 28th
DISCO @ THE HART
The White Hart
8.00pm . All meetings are a call, just come and show it to an appreciative audience.
Another popular Disco night - this pub rocks on these nights!
Its the place to be! Good beer, good food, friendly people.

SUNDAY 29th
NEW ASTRONOMY ON THE MEADOW
The Sports and Social Club, and the Millennium Meadow
6.30pm The Millennium Green adults and children will have access to very high quality telescopes and seeing Jupiter and its moons.
Shepherds Pie will be served in the Longmeadow Sports and Social Club afterwards and there will be a very informative talk.
If the sky is cloudy the talk will still take place and the Shepherds will still have their pie eaten.

Around the Town's pubs
12.30 - 11.00pm. Whitstock - that relaxed event for all tastes in music is back at the Sports and Social Club, along with a small beer festival.

NEW WHITCHURCH ARTS
The White Hart
7.34pm. Monthly meeting of Whitchurch Arts to be held in the White Hart's back dining room starting at 7:43pm.
New members warmly welcomed.
Feel free to bring along your art whatever form it takes - poetry, music, painting, sketches, theatre, photography, sculpture.
The focus is on informal friendly chat and the exchange of ideas.

What a great Quiz night this is turning out to be. Teams of up to 6 and just £2 per person, including a free roll-over jackpot.
Watch out for interesting additions such as Jan's Cheese and Crisp Tasting Round!
There is also a friendly rivalry between the public bar and the 'lounge-lizards'.
A Quiz for all - one not to miss. That goes for the beer too!
