Earth Hour 2011 again sees Whitchurch individuals' homes, businesses and joining with the world to mark the global Earth Hour.

PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION
A fun competition open to all - children and adults, and even includes a mobile phone category. There are two themes to choose from; Energy or Green. Entries will be displayed at the Green Fair.

WHITCHURCH GREEN FAIR
Saturday March 20th: Gill Nethercott Centre
A day of displays, demonstrations and stalls promoting environmentally friendly activities.
To be opened by the Whitchurch Carnival Queen.

WHITCHURCH GREENAWARE WEEK
March 20th - 27th
A full week of activities throughout the town including a Trashy Tree recycled art project, cycle rides, a forum, an energy workshop, and culminating with the Earth Hour event on the final day.
